They dont want to pay for OEM parts... they jerk you around whilst making a claim, and getting someone on the phone is like pulling teeth out of an angry croc...if u value your money and your car don't use state farm they are known for not paying out of claims and they are knowing for screwing over the repair companies..."

But I assure when we were able to get insurance with him. He let me know months before I would even be able to switch to let me know I had better options for my home insurance. "absolutely do not recommend state farm, specifically the jr wade location. i’ve been a customer for about 2.5 years and it’s been nothing but a frustrating, disappointing experience. when i had my 2015 chevy spark, i had to use the towing service (that i paid for) about four times — once for a flat tire after hitting a curb, and the other times because my car broke down and eventually needed a new transmission. one of those tows was just to get the car home because the first shop didn’t do transmission work. what did state farm do? punished me by taking away my roadside assistance when it was time to renew. fine, whatever. then i got a 2020 kia soul. in january 2025, it slid on ice and hit another truck. filed a claim, paid my $500 deductible, and they covered the rest. cool. keep in mind i pay $200/month, so that’s $2400 a year. then in april 2025, kentucky experienced catastrophic flooding. people lost homes, cars, lives. my car was damaged in the flood — something totally out of my control — and repairs were around $4k. state farm covered it. and then what? they non-renewed my policy. said i had too many claims. like… you’re an insurance company?? that’s what insurance is for. are we just supposed to throw money at them every month and never need help? apparently they don’t care about natural disasters, don’t care about customer loyalty, and definitely don’t care about doing the right thing. they just want your money — the second you actually need them, they’ll drop you. garbage company. garbage service. avoid them if you can."
